The Golden age of Atlantis
Prologue
An Atlantean island council member, Tiberius Sinclair, was in a meeting discussing the advantages of the scientific assets and resources of what their island offered to the rest of the world when there was a very strong and crisp wind that blew. TY belonged to an aristocratic Greek family who were very influential on this island, who Poseidon blessed or cursed with immortality,. While the city council was in deliberations from the council, meeting Ty was met by his brother Harold.
Harold received a telepathic message from Ty telling him to come to see him before he left on his journey for Delphi and the Oracle. Ty was happy to see his brother after so many years that he has been too busy with the council rather than family. So, with a hardy handshake and hug, Ty just told Harold to be extremely careful on this Trek for who knows they may not come that way again.
As Harold left over the horizon it rained, and rain hard, the droplets were falling horizontally Ty being the Island head of Science he knew that the droplets of rain could not fall in that direction unless acted on by a strong outside force. He knew right then it had to be the works of the gods or just one god Poseidon. As Ty was running over to his villa all he saw of it from a distance is that it wasn’t there.
He frankly shifted through the alabaster rubble of his once Family home Ty then saw the bodies of his wife and children that were not moving. When the terrible hurricane subsided, the island was in ruins, TY did the best thing he could think of the dug four graves, one for his darling wife, one for his little son Geovanni, one for his daughter Sula, and one for him. being the only council member alive he wanted so much to die that day, so he did. Falling to his knees weeping for losing his family he realized that he and the town people were very wrong in not paying homage to Poseidon. However, it also did not give the Sultan of the seas the right to play with human life as he did either.
While looking at the rings of Atlantis, and now seeing how the storm came up from the watery depths came an imposing figure of great stature and in a booming voice,” YOU THERE Mortal, NOW YOUR FATE IS MINE AND WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR FATE NOW? Ty knew then that the god of the underworld called his family to live with him forever. I have called Ty for another reason.
